Annual Campaign: 2019
Dear Community Hospital Friend:
When dreaming up annual fall plans, we usually think BIG… football, soccer, apple picking, leaf-peeping, fall festivals, family gatherings and more. Residents in the Chautauqua region enjoy numerous events at the various venues the area has to offer.
Thinking big is easy with so many things to do – from exploring to cultural and sporting events to real camaraderie. This year, though, we want you to also think small. While you are engaging in the many above activities, just remember that the Chautauqua region also has the benefit of an excellent health care facility. The small but vital Westfield Memorial Hospital, conveniently located right on Main Street, is ready to serve you, a friend, or a loved one, at a moment’s notice.
As a major source of fund-raising for Westfield Memorial Hospital, the WMH Foundation works with your community hospital to provide financial support for the delivery of high quality health care to the residents and beyond.
This past year alone, the foundation provided funding for:
•Wheelchairs •Laboratory and Emergency Department equipment •Operating Room equipment (including advanced endoscopic equipment) •Power exam table and a fetal monitor (to be used in the new OB-GYN Practice opened this fall).
In order for WMH to continue to offer the finest 24-7 Emergency Department services, cardiac care, physical therapy, radiology, laboratory services, sleep studies, hospice care, and more, we need to fulfill the foundation’s mission. It is essential to help support the hospital with funding to upgrade and add new sophisticated equipment like a new Ultrasound valued at $250,000.
Your tax-deductible gift will also help ensure the foundation’s success and the hospital’s dedication to continue its vital services to all those in need.
Please consider joining in this vital effort and think BIG with as generous a gift as you can by December 31st. Checks may be made payable to the WMH Foundation and sent back in the enclosed reply envelope for your convenience.
Your continued support is greatly appreciated – as always. Thank you.
